HIGH QUALITY CHILD CARE

PV#84061 - 507 Main Street - The Center

Wild Flowers Early Learning Center is a registered group daycare.

We have a separate classroom for six infants and toddlers under age 2.

We also have a large classroom for nine preschool age children.

We are a STAR 2 facility in the STARS to Quality program.

PV#106108 - 504 Main Street - The Academy

Wild Flowers Academy is a registered group daycare.

We provide care for a group of up to 15 children.

*We are currently only accepting children ages 4 and older.*

Both locations offer high quality care in a fun and engaging environment.

We give children plenty of opportunities for exploration and discovery.

We allow children to make meaningful choices to support their growing sense of independence.

And most importantly, we promote active learning through play.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We provide opportunities for exploration, discovery, and open-ended play because research has proven the numerous developmental benefits of learning through play.

According to the position statement by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, or NAEYC, "Rather than detracting from academic learning, play appears to support the abilities that underlie such learning and thus to promote school success". https://www.naeyc.org/sites/default/files/globally-shared/downloads/PDFs/resources/position-statements/PSDAP.pdf

We provide opportunities for discovery and exploration by creating art, music, dramatic play, music, block play, writing and much more. When children are free to choose these activities, their developmental domains are all supported.

Thank you for your interest in our program, we look forward to working with you!
